Information security policy development
BPS will work with your management team and legal department to ensure an effective policy is in place. A policy is a necessary legal and practical foundation to effectively safeguard intellectual property.

Information protection guidelines and practices
BPS will assemble the guidelines and develop the appropriate procedures on what behaviors are expected to properly secure information once it is classified. To safeguard information from loss, employees and contractors must understand the expectations of the information security program, the threats to proprietary information and the actions employees and contractors can take.

Security awareness training
To safeguard information from loss, once guidelines are established, BPS can assist in training employees and contractors on actions they can take in the event of a security incident. Aware employees and contractors are less likely to inadvertently disclose sensitive proprietary information.

Information protection compliance assessments
BPS can assist internal sources or act on behalf of the company to audit the performance of employees and contractors with respect to proprietary information. This includes off-hours assessments to identify lapses in building security, workspace management and storage of proprietary information. For quality assurance purposes, it is important that these audits take place on a regular basis.
