Security Survey
A security survey is a low cost, gap analysis of your existing security processes and countermeasures against industry best practices. It can be a quick hitting first step in immediately improving a security program. In many instances a number of the findings from a security survey are easily correctable procedural modifications or additions; or are discovered to require no more than simple maintenance or repair efforts. In addition, a security survey will provide a baseline of your current security profile against which many organizations develop the justification for a comprehensive risk assessment; and with it the validation required for long-needed capital improvements.
When conducting a security survey BPS will identify a wide array of potential opportunities for improvement using our proprietary vulnerability assessment methodology. Your security program will undergo a 300 point inspection by one of our board certified security consultants covering industry best practices from over thirty government / private security organizations including but not limited to:

Security Survey Benefits
Often weaknesses identified during the security survey can be corrected “on the spot” resulting in immediate risk reduction before the security consultant even leaves the site. The security survey also provides valuable educational benefits in that the security awareness of everyone who interfaces with the security consultant is elevated. Security awareness is essential for effective security and represents the lowest cost and most effective measure to prevent undesirable events.
Security surveys can be conducted quickly with minimal interruption to your operations. Often one to two days on site is all that is required. Reports are issued within one week of the security consultant’s completion of field work.
