Business Protection Specialists operates under a value proposition of customer intimacy. The philosophy of our business is simple: An effective security program requires a clear understanding of the threats and resulting risks or it is designed to control.

Security consulting is our core business. Our typical client is not a security expert and relies upon us to properly assess threats, identify vulnerability and risk, and develop cost-effective security design solutions. Our primary services include threat assessment, risk analysis, security plan and program development, vulnerability assessments, security system engineering and design, anti-terrorism programs, threat response and emergency planning.

Frank Pisciotta, president, established BPS in 1990. BPS entered new markets in 1994, assisting in the development of security programs and training in high threat environments in West Africa for one of the largest Fortune 500 companies. From our home office in western New York, we continue to serve our clients both nationwide and internationally.

All BPS security professionals have achieved board certification in Security Management by ASIS International as Certified Protection Professionals. This is a prestigious accomplishment in the security business, requiring a combination of education, security management experience and a passing grade on an eight-hour examination.

We are not affiliated with any of the products or services we recommend. This important feature of independence ensures that services rendered and advice offered is in the best interests of our clients and not influenced by the hope of a future “security system” sale. As a member of the International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC.org), BPS adheres to a code of ethics which dictates that we will never accept fees or commissions for referring or recommending the services or products of other persons or firms and accept only assignments for which we are qualified.
